FileCenter even integrates with programs such as Microsoft Office, making it easy to save and open your files. With this interface, I have a more visible organizational structure to my files, making it easy to jump around in my directories. This hierarchy is based on your current folder organization, so there's no hassle to set it up (and you can still revert to the Windows File Explorer if you need to). Rather than simply nesting folders, FileCenter uses a hierarchy of Cabinets, Drawers, and Folders.
This program has a LOT of power, so I'll just talk about my favorite three features: FileCenter provides me with a more useful interface for digging through files, not to mention the built-in PDF editor, OCR (image to text converter), and automatic file naming templates. About a year ago, a co-worker introduced me to what has now rendered the File Explorer practically useless.
All PC users are familiar with the Windows File Explorer, but most people aren't aware of the alternatives.
